The earliest bird may have descended from this sci-fi looking creature. It is interesting how they can pinpoint specific attributes that it shared in common with birds because I wouldn’t have seen it immediately. It has what would appear to be tail feathers or perhaps even three tails with feathers. I would be frightened to see this bird.
It looks big but apparently it is small. I would still be scared of it.
From this (Epidexipteryx hui) to the first known bird, the Archaeopteryx, is a bit of a stretch but human evolution is a bit of a stretch too. Things evolve in interesting ways to meet their own needs and survive or even thrive.
I wonder if anyone has made a drawing in size comparison with humans.
